I’m Dan — a freelance software engineer based just south of Copenhagen. I’ve been building software professionally for more than 20 years, most of it for enterprise clients in Denmark and across Europe.
My foundation is .NET and C#, which I’ve worked with since the early days of the framework. On the frontend, I’ve followed the industry through WPF, Vue, Blazor, and Angular — adapting to whatever serves the project and team best. I’m not married to a specific framework; I’m committed to building software that makes sense for the people who use it.
What I enjoy most is the space between business and technology — understanding what a company actually needs, and translating that into clean, maintainable software with interfaces that feel intuitive. That’s where I do my best work.

I typically dedicate my time to one primary engagement, with room for smaller side projects.

I operate through my own company — clean contracts, proper invoicing, no middlemen.
Beyond the code
When I’m not writing code, I run a yarn shop with my wife and breed Whippets. Yes, really. If you’re ever in the Copenhagen area and want to talk software over coffee — or need knitting advice — don’t hesitate to reach out.
